[00:00:00] Speaker A: We have to make sure that we're not spiritually numb to all the noise and everything that's going on around us. The enemy will even use your spouse, your friends, or anybody. [00:00:08] Speaker B: History repeats itself. The history of this world, it repeats itself. Your investment in your relationship with the Lord, is it relational? Is it religious? [00:00:18] Speaker A: Sacred life. Sacred life. Life. The sacred life. Living a life, Living a life. Living, living, living a life that's sacred. Sacred, sacred society. [00:00:41] Speaker B: What up? [00:00:41] Speaker A: What up? This your boy? TW Sacred Apparel. [00:00:43] Speaker B: And Anna Johnson, owner of Overcoming Daily. [00:00:46] Speaker A: Welcome to the Sacred Life podcast, where we'll be discussing life, relationships, business, the. [00:00:52] Speaker B: Bible, and of course, how to live the sacred life. [00:00:55] Speaker A: Yeah. How are you good people doing today? We're back with another episode. Ms. Johnson, how you been? [00:01:03] Speaker B: I've been great. [00:01:04] Speaker A: Great. Been busy. Busy week. [00:01:06] Speaker B: Yes. [00:01:06] Speaker A: Productive. Very busy. [00:01:08] Speaker B: Productive. [00:01:08] Speaker A: Okay. Very productive week. [00:01:10] Speaker B: Okay. [00:01:11] Speaker A: Let's put it that way. [00:01:11] Speaker B: We don't do busy. [00:01:12] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, we don't do busy. I rock with that. I felt that. So today's topic is end time distractions. Don't sleep through the signs. [00:01:26] Speaker B: Okay. [00:01:27] Speaker A: Yeah. So we're going to tap in on that in a little bit, but as always, we're going to open up with prayer. You know, want to bless the people. [00:01:37] Speaker B: Father God, we thank you. We praise you and we give you the glory. We thank you, Abba, for just the honor to be able. The honor and the privilege to be able to come before you in prayer, Father. And Father, we welcome you. This is your platform. These are your people. And so, Father, we welcome you here, Father, to just move on this episode as you feel fit, Father, and you want to do it. So we thank you, Father, for all the viewers, Father, we pray for healing over their hearts, their minds, and their entire life. In the mighty name of your son Yeshua, we pray Amen and amen. [00:02:11] Speaker A: Amen. Amen. So, man, been a lot of things happening going on. Just got, well, not going to date stuff. Almost did it. But we've been going through some changes with some things transition, some transitions. [00:02:27] Speaker B: It's a victory. [00:02:28] Speaker A: I start with. We'll start with you go ahead. So y' all know with Sacred Apparel, we had started our Sinners are sacred movement. Had a fire logo we was putting out. I thought the message was kind of understanding and dope, but that's the part where we mess up with things to where we think something is. Yeah, I mean, it's dope. And yeah, we think we're delivering a message that's conveying what the father's message is. Trying to get out. But I received two witnesses about that logo and that design. And one of the witnesses was someone I didn't. [00:03:14] Speaker B: Well, you didn't know. [00:03:15] Speaker A: I didn't really know. There's no of them, but didn't really know them. We have no connection like that. And so when that witness hit, they hit Anna. And Anna screenshotted me the message of what they said, and it was just like, wow, that was the second. Second witness to it about that logo and design. So needless to say, I've put that design away, that slogan away, and so we will, you know, no longer be using that. [00:03:45] Speaker B: Well, and I guess it could look evil if you only think about it. [00:03:48] Speaker A: If you think about it. But see, the sinners are sacred. The way that I was coming at it was we're sinners are sacred, we sin daily, but we continue to go to the Father. You know what I mean? Seek forgiveness. [00:04:01] Speaker B: We fall short. [00:04:02] Speaker A: We fall short. You know what I'm saying? So when we seek him for forgiveness, it's like we're new. We're new creations. [00:04:08] Speaker B: Hopefully we're not purposefully sinning. [00:04:10] Speaker A: Yeah, not purposely. That's a whole nother story if you're purposely sinning. So that was the aspect that I was going from with the sinners are sacred thing. [00:04:17] Speaker B: But, you know, Yeshua's message was always, repent, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is upon you. [00:04:24] Speaker A: Right. [00:04:25] Speaker B: And you know, if. If you're saying sinners are sacred, then you're not really matching up with that repentance message. [00:04:34] Speaker A: I'm not gonna go back, but I get it, you know what I'm saying? But it's like I could rebuttal it, but I could see the other side of it, you know what I'm saying? [00:04:44] Speaker B: But. [00:04:45] Speaker A: But what? [00:04:46] Speaker B: But what's the mind of Yeshua say? Yeah, and we don't have time to dive into that. [00:04:50] Speaker A: Yeah, we're not. [00:04:50] Speaker B: That's our series episode. [00:04:52] Speaker A: Yeah. But maybe it'll be a good episode. Send us a secret and we tap in. [00:04:57] Speaker B: I think we better leave that alone. [00:04:58] Speaker A: I mean, they actually dive into it. [00:05:01] Speaker B: More if we want the subject. [00:05:02] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. The subject of it. [00:05:04] Speaker B: That's. I mean, this is. [00:05:07] Speaker A: Anyway, I just want to tap in and let y' all know what was going on with that. So that's one change that we've made with some things. We've kind of popped bricks a little bit on releasing new designs and new things. Do we look tilted a little bit in the camera? [00:05:24] Speaker B: I don't think so. [00:05:25] Speaker A: You don't think so. Okay, so we kind of pumped our brakes a little bit with things, but around the beginning of the year, we're gonna be back on track with pushing and doing stuff. So bear with us. You know, I mean, as always, we. [00:05:39] Speaker B: Well, they're here for the podcast, not for the clothing. [00:05:42] Speaker A: But I'm just saying it's all, you know, I mean, it's all in the same pot. You know what I mean? Yeah, we're all in the same pot anyway, so let's go. Let's dive in. So what's been on you, on your mind and everything lately? [00:05:57] Speaker B: Overcoming, overcoming. That's always on my mind. [00:06:00] Speaker A: Yeah. And overcoming daily. And as always, you know, we continue to drop the commercials about joining the Overcoming365. So. [00:06:09] Speaker B: Because every day is an overcoming day. [00:06:11] Speaker A: Every day is an overcoming day. And like we said, she does that every day. Morning. It's a daily thing. 365 days of the year. US drops daily videos, daily content, daily scriptures, declarations, Fresh word. Fresh word every day. So, yeah, yeah, that's what it is with that. All right, so let's tap into this end times distraction. [00:06:34] Speaker B: Let's dive in. [00:06:35] Speaker A: What? [00:06:35] Speaker B: I said tap. [00:06:36] Speaker A: I tap into stuff, baby. I tap into it. You tap something. Think about, like, scrolling. You tap it and open it up. [00:06:42] Speaker B: Okay, well, go ahead. Go ahead. [00:06:44] Speaker A: You know what I mean? So a lot of things going on. We see it's so much going on in this world today. And there's so much stuff that we can get distracted by some things if we get. [00:06:56] Speaker B: If we're not cautious, if we're not. [00:06:58] Speaker A: Cautious, if we get to go down the rabbit hole. So to say. So to say. So we have to make sure that we're not spiritually numb to all the noise and everything that's going on around us. [00:07:09] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:07:11] Speaker A: Like I said, with social media, we have constant notifications going off about things that can distract us. The news that's going on about things. And social media, just so much happening and so much going on that can distract us, you know? So what, what do you say? Like when? Oh, you guys want to say about that? [00:07:28] Speaker B: No, go ahead. [00:07:29] Speaker A: So what do you think? Like, how can we combat those distractions with, like, if we have, like, necessary things that we need, you know what I'm saying? Like, social media, we got businesses, so we have to be on social media to run our business and things. But you know how I go, you pick up your phone to make a post, bam, there goes something, you look at it and then you get lost. Scrolling. It's like. Oh shoot. [00:07:54] Speaker B: So what's the question? [00:07:55] Speaker A: So what, what can we do to combat some of these distractions with things going on? Like everything that's going on. [00:08:02] Speaker B: What's everything? [00:08:04] Speaker A: Everything. Life. Life, baby. Life. [00:08:08] Speaker B: This life. [00:08:09] Speaker A: Yeah. It's like it's always something. It's always something. [00:08:16] Speaker B: Well, I mean the first place to start is looking, having, practicing self awareness and knowing. Are you a distractible person? [00:08:27] Speaker A: Hold on, hold on. Are you distractable or do you get distracted? What aim are you coming from that? [00:08:35] Speaker B: Well, I mean certain personality types, certain neurological wiring can be challenged. [00:08:43] Speaker A: I think I'm distractable. [00:08:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:45] Speaker A: But I'm also distracted. So that's why I said what point you come from. Like what do you mean? Are you distracted? Not really. [00:08:54] Speaker B: Okay, well let's hear this. [00:08:56] Speaker A: Like I'm a distracted distractible. It's like me distracting others. You say I distract you. [00:09:03] Speaker B: Oh, gotcha. [00:09:03] Speaker A: You see what I'm saying? So distract. But that's, but that's not. [00:09:06] Speaker B: We're focusing on. Our focus is on ourselves. So the question is, is first having self awareness and knowing yourself, knowing how you, how you flow if you know that you are a person that's easily distracted or easily overwhelmed. Because a lot of times people are plugging into social media or, or you know, YouTube or any of those platforms because they're trying to just like relax. [00:09:35] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:09:37] Speaker B: So you got to know who you are first, right? [00:09:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:43] Speaker B: And so I practice some self awareness and studying yourself and actually writing some notes down about yourself. Knowing what your kryptonite is, knowing what your tendencies and your habits are. [00:09:53] Speaker A: We okay, but you can have good intentions. Like a lot of time I have good intentions. It's like, okay, I'm just open this up. I'm gonna go and post real quick. And like I said, you get distracted just from. But it's. [00:10:04] Speaker B: I mean it happens. [00:10:05] Speaker A: It's pulling away from that when you get too far. Drone. [00:10:09] Speaker B: But I honestly believe that the first level of that is first just awareness. [00:10:14] Speaker A: Right? [00:10:15] Speaker B: It's just awareness. You've got to know who you are. [00:10:17] Speaker A: So what are some modern day you see that are pulling people in. [00:10:23] Speaker B: Modern day distractors? Well, one is upside down priorities. One. Another thing would be like not choosing your focal point, letting life just run you. And you're not tapping into that divine blueprint from Father God. Like why am I here? What is my season? What am I called to do? Who am I really in you? How do I shed the false. The false narrative about who I am? These false Identities to actually grow in discovering who I am in you. [00:10:59] Speaker A: Right. So I guess. What, like making decisions? [00:11:02] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, if you're a distractible person, why are you distractible? What, what is the issue here? What is the root issue? Why are you distracted? [00:11:09] Speaker A: It's so. Shoot. It could be all kinds of things like. [00:11:11] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:11:12] Speaker A: The ADHD got me you chasing that ball, you know. [00:11:16] Speaker B: Yes. [00:11:16] Speaker A: But then you see a butterfly, it's like squirrel. [00:11:19] Speaker B: Yes, but then the other question is, do you see a problem with it and do you talk or double minded about the subject? So one moment you're like, oh, I hate this cause I can't get a B and C done. But then the next day you're like, you know, I like me, I like how I am. I like that I'm distracted. I mean, that's double mindedness. [00:11:40] Speaker A: I feel like shotspot. Cause I don't know if you aimed at me. [00:11:44] Speaker B: No, I'm just saying in general, this is not about an ADHD or this is about people in general. People are. People struggle with being uncomfortable, therefore they don't. The truth will make you uncomfortable when you are not, when your lifestyle is not. When your lifestyle is not aligned with what truly is, who you're called to be and the truth reveals that you are, you're falling short. You're going to get uncomfortable. So what are you going to do? You're going to. Sometimes you're trying to make light of it. [00:12:16] Speaker A: Yeah. It's true. [00:12:18] Speaker B: Or make excuses for it. [00:12:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, I can rock with that. [00:12:23] Speaker B: So self awareness, getting the blueprint from abba, knowing who you are, what you're called to, what your season is. But there is another part of that question. Say that question again. [00:12:34] Speaker A: Oh baby. What are some modern day distractions you see pulling believers modern away from spiritual focus? [00:12:42] Speaker B: Yeah, modern day distractions. What are they? [00:12:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Well, what do you think they are? [00:12:47] Speaker A: Shoot. What I said to the company, like, oh, wow, social media, the news, politics. I think politics is a huge one. The government. [00:13:02] Speaker B: Yeah. You know what? Honestly, I think a modern day problem that causes people to be distracted and fall asleep is prayerlessness. Because if you're truly praying, you're going to stay awake, you're going to be more focused. If you're praying from a place of like literally, you know, ABBA meets us in that prayer space and if we're, we're praying daily and we're actually slowing down long enough to recognize him as our Savior, recognize Him as our creator, and we actually truly care about his thoughts, about our life and His Plans about our lives. It's gonna be. We still may have some distraction. [00:13:50] Speaker A: But you think it'd be harder, though? Harder to get distracted? [00:13:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:13:54] Speaker A: We won't be as easily distracted. [00:13:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:13:57] Speaker A: Okay. [00:13:58] Speaker B: Think about it. You tried to distract me today and didn't even know it, dog. [00:14:02] Speaker A: I did? [00:14:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Get ready to record my 365. [00:14:06] Speaker A: I didn't try to distract you. I was just. [00:14:09] Speaker B: You were trying to pull me into your. Where you were at. Oh, that's good. That's good right there. [00:14:14] Speaker A: Yeah. Let me try to distract. [00:14:16] Speaker B: No, I mean, you. The behavior was. You weren't per. You as a. And that's the other thing, guys, is that people that are doing these things, they're not doing it purposely. [00:14:25] Speaker A: See, I thought I was being loving. I'm trying to, you know, I mean, do what I do. So it's like. [00:14:32] Speaker B: But, yeah, I'm not going there. But. No, what I'm saying is, is that you've got to know what your focal point is. If you don't know what your focal point is, you're just gonna be, you know, people. [00:14:45] Speaker A: You refuse to be easily distracted. [00:14:48] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't. I don't know. I don't know how you can be distracted when you've had. Oh, Father, forgive me, you know, like. Because, I mean, I've said. I know I've fallen short here, and I'm not saying that none of us have arrived, but it's like, if Father gives you. He gives you. Once you get the blueprint from him, and he says, I want you, I see this for you, and I've given you a B and C. You. When he gives you something, he just, like, you tell the kids to do a, B and C. You expect that out of the. Out of our kids. [00:15:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. But see, and I guess that's the difficulty. If that was me, I'd have completely turned around, lean into it, bamboozle. And then got right back to what I was doing. [00:15:33] Speaker B: Well, what you were doing. What I was doing. That would have hijacked it for me. It would have, because I. [00:15:40] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying for you. [00:15:41] Speaker B: You don't. Like. We all have a. When we get this blueprint. Blueprint from Ava, we know that there are certain things that we need to do to protect the blueprint. To protect the blueprint. [00:15:51] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel you. But like I said, you know. [00:15:55] Speaker B: But you're not delivering that level. You're not delivering that level of. [00:15:59] Speaker A: You're right. [00:16:00] Speaker B: Spiritual fruit. [00:16:03] Speaker A: Yeah. I just spun around, did this. My back. [00:16:06] Speaker B: But that kind of stuff. You can't do that. [00:16:08] Speaker A: Okay. [00:16:09] Speaker B: You can't do that. [00:16:10] Speaker A: You're right. So she wasn't easily distracted, evidently. All right, so how can we balance staying? [00:16:24] Speaker B: Well, let's go back to distractions. [00:16:25] Speaker A: Okay. [00:16:26] Speaker B: Because we see in Scripture there was a prophet that was called to go somewhere and to not. Yes, thank you. [00:16:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He said. Then he said, come. Come home with me and eat me. [00:16:38] Speaker B: I'm a prophet. [00:16:39] Speaker A: And he said, I may not return with thee, nor God in with thee. Neither will I eat bread and drink water with thee in this place. For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shall not eat bread and drink water again. Turn away from us. And he said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art. [00:16:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:57] Speaker A: And an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, bring him back with thee into thine house. [00:17:03] Speaker B: He was being honest. [00:17:04] Speaker A: I don't mess up. You know, I mean, think about it. You go on your route, okay, Yeah, y' all told you. But it's actually, you know what? Be like. Like, I came to you the other day. [00:17:13] Speaker B: He was a lying problem. [00:17:14] Speaker A: No, no, no. I came to you the other day. Yeah. And you remember I said. I said, I got. I think. I know. I feel. I heard y' all say so. So. And you said, well, that's not what I got. I thought so. And so. And I was like, okay, but what you say, you say, go and test yours first and see. [00:17:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:17:35] Speaker A: So I went out there to check it, to see, you know, so it's kind of like. It's kind of like with that situation. So this one prophet, he heard from Yah, and he said, don't eat, drink, blah, blah, blah. Go and don't do nothing. But then he's going, and this prophet stops and he says, nah, the Lord told me not to stop. He said, I'm also a prophet, just like you are. And the angel told me to tell you to come and eat. That's confusing. [00:18:01] Speaker B: I would have. [00:18:02] Speaker A: I'd be dead. [00:18:03] Speaker B: Because I'd have been like, oh, you know what? Okay, let's go. [00:18:05] Speaker A: He told you to tell me? [00:18:07] Speaker B: No. And see, I. That. Wait a minute. Where'd it go? I lost it again. [00:18:12] Speaker A: It was in 1st Kings 13, 7, 24, verses 15 through 18. [00:18:21] Speaker B: Let me see. You got it. So. But this is a. This is a good point here about being distracted and being lured in to other people stuff. [00:18:32] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:35] Speaker B: You know, he. This prophet. This prophet's unnamed. He doesn't have a name. [00:18:41] Speaker A: Twink I thought I remember the scripture saying his name. [00:18:43] Speaker B: No. God sent a prophet from Judah to deliver a message to the king. The man was commanded there. He's an unnamed prophet. But the man of God was commanded by the Lord not to eat bread, drink water, or return by the spirit, same way he came. But after he delivered the message, an old prophet from Bethel heard about what happened and went to meet him. So the. The lesson is, is that this, you know, we're. We're not to be swayed or compromised from what the Lord has given us. [00:19:17] Speaker A: Right. [00:19:18] Speaker B: You know, the prime example. Well, I'm not. It's not a prime example, but, you know, like you were just saying earlier about how I told you I. I was taking a walk, and I came back and I had had the solution to the situation we had. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Right. [00:19:36] Speaker B: And I said, well, this is what I heard. And you're like, well, but I'm gonna try this first. Well, your first. The thing you tried was unsuccessful, Right? [00:19:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:19:49] Speaker B: And so I said, no, go. And now go and do what I suggested. And you did it. And then there. And then there was something else. I can't even remember which one. I said, we're gonna do this. And you said, well, we could do this. And I said, well, this is what I heard. Because this is what I heard. This is what we're gonna do. [00:20:09] Speaker A: Yeah. And when you said that this is what I heard, I'd be like, okay. [00:20:12] Speaker B: I can't remember what that was. [00:20:13] Speaker A: I'm not gonna argue with that. [00:20:15] Speaker B: What was it? [00:20:15] Speaker A: But it seemed like it was recent, like yesterday or day before. [00:20:19] Speaker B: But we got it done, didn't we? [00:20:20] Speaker A: Yeah, we. [00:20:21] Speaker B: And it worked. [00:20:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:20:22] Speaker B: Yeah. So, one. You can waste time not listening or something. Or something can die. [00:20:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:20:28] Speaker B: Out of the situation. [00:20:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I listen. [00:20:32] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:20:33] Speaker A: But I just said in that situation with the two props and the prophet coming. You know what I'm saying? It's just like. Yeah, you just. Like she said earlier, you have to be tapped in with y'. All. You got to know. You have to know, stay prayed up and be in that way. You won't get swayed. But, man, he died because of that, you know? I mean, I'm like. He was basically disobedient. You know, y' all told him something to do. [00:20:55] Speaker B: Well. And I don't know. I don't think disobedience. [00:21:00] Speaker A: Bottom line, he was. [00:21:01] Speaker B: Can I finish? [00:21:02] Speaker A: Oh, my bad. [00:21:03] Speaker B: I don't think disobedience was his heart posture. I think that he was swayed. [00:21:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:21:10] Speaker B: And you can lose a lot when you're swayed by other people's attention agenda, right? [00:21:17] Speaker A: Yeah, it happens, man. It happens. [00:21:20] Speaker B: If you, if ABBA gives you a vision for your life or situation and you let other people's agendas or their, their opinions start to take presence over yours or you get distracted or actually or distracted by it. [00:21:37] Speaker A: That if you really think back, that's almost like the conversation we had yesterday. [00:21:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:21:41] Speaker A: You know what I'm talking about. So, yeah, it can happen because you're. [00:21:45] Speaker B: Responsible for, for what he's called you to. [00:21:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Sex society. What up? What up? So consider joining like I said. For more information, go to overcomingdaily.com till next time, Live by Sacred peace. You know, I'm not gonna dive deep into it, but we, like, we had a conversation yesterday about that. It's like with me trying to do things for my wife and to make my wife happy or to try to make me happy because I don't want to see my wife upset with something by me doing that. Sometimes I don't do what you should be. What I should be doing. Yeah, a lot. Sometimes I don't do what I should be doing. So instead of trying to make her happy with certain situations, I should have been like, forget it. I'm just going to go ahead and do this. [00:23:49] Speaker B: You know what? And this is our, this is the point. We all need to know our own personal priorities. [00:23:54] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:23:56] Speaker B: And we've got to be okay with people not being okay with our priorities. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:24:01] Speaker B: And sometimes we use other people's priorities as an excuse not to keep our own. That's another thing. I mean, and all these things, it really boils down to like we, you know, do you need healing? Do you need a mindset shift? You know, you know, why do you get distracted? Why do you compromise? [00:24:20] Speaker A: Right. [00:24:20] Speaker B: So. Yeah, yeah, so let's go back to that. [00:24:24] Speaker A: Some of the question, the same question. [00:24:26] Speaker B: We can just make sure we cover that question. [00:24:28] Speaker A: So what are some modern day distractions you see pulling believers away from spiritual focus? [00:24:34] Speaker B: Oh, so, so relationships. Yeah, relationships. Or the absence of like, like I said again, prayerlessness, like the absence of putting your relationship with father first. [00:24:49] Speaker A: That would still go tap in with relationships. Your relationship with him, but you're. [00:24:54] Speaker B: Yeah, but your relate. The lack of your relationship with him can lead to that. But relationships with people who don't respect your personal relationship with, with Abba or the vision that he gives you or you as a person, like those things can do it because you'll find yourself compromising if you're not careful. [00:25:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:14] Speaker B: So. Or not knowing your calling and who you are and what you where you where your positioning is. [00:25:21] Speaker A: Well, well, a lot of people don't know what their callings are. [00:25:24] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:25:25] Speaker A: I told a lot of people that have no clue what their call is. [00:25:28] Speaker B: Well, we do know that. We all know that we're called to a deep, intimate relationship with the Lord and that's where it all starts. And if you're in intimacy with him, you're going to. All, all those other things are going to fall into place. They're going to unfold before you fall in place eventually. Yeah. [00:25:41] Speaker A: Yeah. Another point I had is like the enemy uses distraction as a weapon and. [00:25:47] Speaker B: He'Ll use the people and he will use the people you love the most. [00:25:52] Speaker A: Yeah. One of the places he don't have to destroy you, he just have to distract you and he get you distracted. You'll get off course. Yeah. [00:26:03] Speaker B: I mean, yeah. He loves to change our focal point. [00:26:08] Speaker A: Yep. [00:26:09] Speaker B: So I could have like when you were trying to. I was in the middle of getting ready to start recording and you came up to me. I could have been like, oh, like oh my goodness, he's gonna be upset with me or this and that, you know, Or I could be like, you know what, let me do what I need to do. [00:26:25] Speaker A: Yeah, see you're more. You're stronger than me. You have. You brought. You're more focused. [00:26:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:30] Speaker A: You're more focused than I am with that. I was like, like I said, I turned around quick, like blasey blasey blah. [00:26:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:37] Speaker A: She's like, what? What? It was almost irritating like, what? What? But yeah, it is what it is. It work. Yeah, I mean, I get it. [00:26:47] Speaker B: Well, listen, guys, we only have so much time here on Earth. We. We need to get our. We need to get our job done. What is our mission? [00:26:55] Speaker A: And the enemy will even use your spouse. Yeah. I had to say, like, I'm not saying that that situation is. [00:27:01] Speaker B: Yeah. But I'm just saying good intentions. [00:27:03] Speaker A: Yeah. The enemy will even use your spouse, your friends or anybody. I mean, it could be. You could think it's something for the good, but it could distract them for what it is that they're supposed to be doing. [00:27:13] Speaker B: Well, you know what the perfect example of what we're talking about here is Yeshua. Yeshua. Let me see here. There's a scripture that talks about. He set his face like flint. Unyielding determination to achieve a purpose despite any opposition or difficulty. So he set his face like flint. And so us, whatever, you know, Father gives us a blueprint. You can get a blueprint from him. He will give you a blueprint as to. Or in blueprints coming season. So the blueprint doesn't always stay the same, but he'll give you a blueprint of like, okay, this is my focal point in the season. He doesn't, you know, we're not out here drifting. Like, we have a father who guides and leads us. We are able to walk by the spirit. So. But Yeshua, he is our great example and he set his face like flint. [00:28:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:11] Speaker B: Unyielding determination. And if people. And you know what distracted people. Purposeless purpose people, they will get angry. Purpose. Purposeless. Meaning they're not walking in purpose. They will. They may even get angry or make mock you or ridicule you because you are focused. [00:28:32] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:34] Speaker B: And you just keep on moving. [00:28:36] Speaker A: Keep it moving. [00:28:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:37] Speaker A: Like soul to soul said. [00:28:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Because that's what Yeshua did. He didn't. He didn't get tied up. You didn't see him. Like when he went to certain places and the Pharisees were trying to kill him. And you didn't see him sitting down, feeling sorry for himself. [00:28:49] Speaker A: Right. [00:28:50] Speaker B: Or be. And being distracted by that. [00:28:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Sometimes distractions are blatant too. Clear as day. Yeah, clear as day. [00:28:59] Speaker B: Sometimes we are our own distractions. [00:29:02] Speaker A: Yeah, I said. [00:29:04] Speaker B: I said new Inner me. [00:29:06] Speaker A: Yeah, my inner me. My inner me is my biggest enemy. So. And that's true. The enemy is your biggest enemy sometimes because you'll talk yourself right out of doing something you know you're supposed to be doing. [00:29:20] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:20] Speaker A: You know, so being alert, we have. [00:29:25] Speaker B: To. [00:29:28] Speaker A: Remember that being alert doesn't mean living in fear or being in fear. [00:29:34] Speaker B: Yeah, we need to be watchmen on the wall. [00:29:36] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. [00:29:38] Speaker B: We need to be the bride, the bridesmaids in waiting. We need to have oil. We need to be trimming our lamps. We need to be ready. [00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah, I like to watch me on the wall. I mean, be like Nehemiah and them, you know, I mean, they. While they were building the wall, they still had their swords and stuff, their weapons, and they're ready. So it's like you're alert, conscious, you're alert. So did I hit number two? [00:30:06] Speaker B: Yes, sir. [00:30:07] Speaker A: How can we balance staying informed about world events of life without becoming fearful or overwhelmed? [00:30:16] Speaker B: Oh, wow. You know what? We need to back up here. This is a great question. [00:30:21] Speaker A: Okay. [00:30:21] Speaker B: Like, it goes back to prayer and reading the Word. You're already in your. Nothing catches you by surprise. [00:30:30] Speaker A: Right? [00:30:31] Speaker B: Because history repeats itself. The history of this world, it repeats itself. And so when you. Why do we look at life outwardly when we could look at this life that we're living inwardly? [00:30:45] Speaker A: Right. [00:30:46] Speaker B: Where things wouldn't be surprising? And people who actually walk in, like, prophetic gifting, they see this stuff coming. [00:30:52] Speaker A: Yeah, this is true. [00:30:55] Speaker B: So, you know, I think that's right there. Part of the issue is that we actually need to be looking. Looking at this life from inside the prayer closet. [00:31:05] Speaker A: This is true. [00:31:06] Speaker B: Instead of looking at this life from, you know, from being on social media and this isn't that first, we should be in that prayer space and making sure that we're. We're fully plugged into the mindset of Christ so that when we see things, we've already seen it. [00:31:23] Speaker A: We've seen it. Yeah. [00:31:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:25] Speaker A: It's good. That's good. [00:31:28] Speaker B: Yeah, that's real good. [00:31:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:31] Speaker A: All right. So do you think most believers realize how close we might be to the end times? [00:31:39] Speaker B: Say that again. [00:31:40] Speaker A: Do you think most believers realize how close. Close we might be to end times? Or has comfort. Has comfort numbed us to even really thinking about it? I don't know. [00:31:52] Speaker B: You answer that question. [00:31:53] Speaker A: Well, I gotta answer. [00:31:54] Speaker B: I'm asking now. You answer that one first. I've been answering all the questions. [00:31:59] Speaker A: I think we don't really think about it. Not saying we, but I think a lot of people don't really think about it, that they look at it as like, oh, this is gonna happen. This is that. Oh, it's just a part of life. Oh, it's just. It is what it is, all this. So I don't really think people really tap in and really look at it and see. [00:32:19] Speaker B: And, you know, for me, to me, I say stay ready. So it doesn't matter if it's today, tomorrow, or 10, 20, 30 minutes. Today is the day. So we stay ready. We stay ready. [00:32:36] Speaker A: Right. [00:32:37] Speaker B: You know, but when you're not staying ready, then you're gonna drift one way or the other, or you're gonna get, oh, weary. But if you just stay ready, that. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Goes my scripture that I got, Matthew 24:42. Watch, therefore, for you know, not what hour your Lord does come. You don't know. Stay ready, stay ready, stay ready. [00:33:03] Speaker B: You prepare every day like, this is the day of his return. And the thing is, is people, especially Americans, when we think about, like, preparing for his return, when people are starting to think like, well, maybe I shouldn't pay my bills. Maybe I shouldn't do this. Maybe I should just creep. No, it's true. [00:33:20] Speaker A: I know. [00:33:21] Speaker B: Because think about, maybe I'm just gonna eat junk. You know, like, maybe you were working on your health. No, continue to do the things that are good and proper according to the word. Yeah, yeah. And Yeshua, when Yeshua returns, he's going to catch you doing the things that are good and proper. [00:33:38] Speaker A: Right? Yeah, I like that. Okay. [00:33:41] Speaker B: It's a whole mindset shift. Stay ready. [00:33:45] Speaker A: Kind of like scripture says, put on a full armor. You know, saying. And I always say, keep on armor as long as you take it off. [00:33:51] Speaker B: Sleep with it all. [00:33:52] Speaker A: Just be ready, put it on, and don't take it off. Yeah. All right. So what practical steps can people take to wake up spiritually in the season that we're in? [00:34:08] Speaker B: Oh, wow. [00:34:09] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, what practical steps? [00:34:15] Speaker B: Evaluate the relationship with the Lord. And where he is on your priority list. Is he just a priority in your. In your mouth and your speech, or is your priority in your heart? You know, so that would be. One of the first places is to start, is to evaluate your investment. That may be even a better way of putting it. Your investment in your relationship with the Lord, is it relational? Is it religious? Is it out of obligation? Or is it out of love? You know, like that is going to be developing and kindling that love and that faith in the Lord. Fresh and new. A fresh and new wow. Is, you know, and how do you do that? You make. You make. So you make some sacrifices. [00:35:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:04] Speaker B: You might be fasting, increasing prayer time, joining a community, doing a Bible devotion or something, study. But so a fresh and new. Yeah, that's where you start. [00:35:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Fresh and new. And actually your community would be great for that. [00:35:26] Speaker B: No, a community that's already doing it. [00:35:29] Speaker A: Yeah. And why I'm going drop the link below for y' all to check out the community. [00:35:34] Speaker B: And, you know, you can catch. You can catch. You can catch faith. I mean, you can catch it from other people. You can. You catch it in and through testimony, when people start sharing the testimony. And so they've already. Some people. When you get in a community that's already stirred up this energy, you. You can actually ride a bit of that energy to help you get momentum. [00:35:56] Speaker A: That's something you've been talking about a lot, telling people to share. Share their testimony. I tell a lot of people, like, what you go through or what. What trials and things that you go through is not for you. Well, but the other thing for somebody else to be that testimony to be told for the witnesses. So. [00:36:16] Speaker B: And the other part of that is. Is that. Is. That's God's story in your life. And we owe it to. We owe it to him to share. To share that story with a dying world. Yeah. Dying dark world. Yeah, no doubt. [00:36:33] Speaker A: Now, you've been. Actually the past couple of conferences and different things that you've been doing, engagements that you spoke on, you've been speaking about, speaking to the generations. [00:36:45] Speaker B: Amen. [00:36:47] Speaker A: So how can we help the next generation stay alert and grounded in truth when the world's so full of diseases? [00:36:57] Speaker B: That's such a loaded question. [00:36:58] Speaker A: I know. And I'm gonna repeat it. How can we help. How can we help the next generation stay alert and grounded. [00:37:06] Speaker B: Stop there. So let's just answer that part of the question. [00:37:09] Speaker A: But it's like it's. It ain't the same if it ain't finished. [00:37:12] Speaker B: But you. But it's. It's a compounded question. So we answered. [00:37:18] Speaker A: Okay, let me. Let me say it one more time. And then we are. [00:37:20] Speaker B: Okay, okay. [00:37:22] Speaker A: How can we help the next generation stay alert and grounded in truth when there's. When the world's full of so much deception? [00:37:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, so that's compounded. [00:37:33] Speaker A: Okay. [00:37:36] Speaker B: So the first part of that question is what. [00:37:38] Speaker A: How can we help the next generation stay alert and grounded in truth? [00:37:42] Speaker B: Right there. How can we help them to stay alert and grounded and grounded in truth? Well, the first Thing is, is how first we got to get them to be alert because everybody's a. Everybody but a lot of people are being rocked to sleep. [00:37:57] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:37:58] Speaker B: And then the say we get them awake, then we have to get them to focus on being grounded in truth. Do you see how compact that, how many multiple layers this question has to it? So the answer is we must first be awake. [00:38:15] Speaker A: So would that I say work on yourself first. [00:38:17] Speaker B: Yeah. We must be awake and we must be grounded in truth. And then what was the second part, the third part to that? [00:38:30] Speaker A: When the world's so full of deception. [00:38:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. [00:38:34] Speaker A: Alert and grounded in truth. When the world's so full of deception. [00:38:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:37] Speaker A: Because all the deception, everything going on out here, like how do you keep them grounding the truth? [00:38:43] Speaker B: Well, first you. We have to. There has to be a generation or generations of representation, representatives of different. Various generations to that are awake and then not only are they aware awake, but they're also. Because some people have truth, but they're. They're slumbering, they're not active. Okay. They're. They're slumbering, they're asleep. Not fully engaging with what they have in them. But the other part of it is we make sure we're awake, we make sure we're grounded in truth and then we look to be able to establish a connection by meeting a need with the other generations. [00:39:26] Speaker A: But what do you do when you feel like. When people feel like. [00:39:29] Speaker B: Then you impact when people feel like. [00:39:34] Speaker A: They almost to the point that they're tired because it's like they aren't listening. It's almost like it's falling on deaf ears. [00:39:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:39:43] Speaker A: You know what I'm saying? So it's like almost that tired of trying to wake up. They're tired of trying to keep them alert. But see, they're tired of trying. [00:39:49] Speaker B: That's the thing. They're tired of trying to wake people up. We're here to serve people. We're not the ones that wake people up. He is. [00:40:00] Speaker A: So we just say what we say. Let it be one. [00:40:04] Speaker B: You got to know your per. You got to know who's your people that you're called to serve you to minister to. And what is your. What is the messages that you carry in your life? Your life carries. And then you know, you look at. See how you can meet the needs of a particular group of people. Many people want to go drop truth bombs, but they've not met any. They've not met any needs for that person. No needs. [00:40:28] Speaker A: You see it a lot too. [00:40:30] Speaker B: So we have to serve. [00:40:31] Speaker A: That's more damaging. [00:40:32] Speaker B: We see Yeshua, he dropped a lot of truth, but he also dropped a lot of healing. He also dropped a lot of feeding. [00:40:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:40:44] Speaker B: And so that's the thing is if you're just going around you telling people what they shouldn't and shouldn't do, first you need to see if they're awake, they're not awake. Then you got to work on wake. You know, first wake them up. [00:40:55] Speaker A: Right. [00:40:56] Speaker B: And then you've got to just see what their needs are, establish a connection with them. And then they will see that you're trustworthy. That creates the bridge. [00:41:07] Speaker A: Don't have a bullhorn just trying to. [00:41:09] Speaker B: You, you know, you can't. No, you can't rush it. You can't rush it at all. Can't rush it because you'll lose it. [00:41:15] Speaker A: You do it. That's what I was gonna say. You do it that way, you're going to lose them. And if anything, turn them further away from it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. One of the other scriptures I had, it says, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, is roaring, roaring like a lion walking around seeking who he may devour. So that goes back to what my second thing that I was saying, how the enemy would distract us, he'll use. [00:41:41] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, well, you know, and I said about connection. And that's. That's from a practical standpoint where we're thinking in the natural, but let's look at the supernatural. It's prayer. So if you're really concerned about. If you're really concerned about people that are distracted, that are asleep, then you make sure you're awake and that you're focused. And then you start praying and fasting. You start declaring and decreeing the word of the word of God, God over whatever the situation the people are. And you start asking God to wake people up and turn on the lights, Right? [00:42:18] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:42:20] Speaker B: And you get people to join you. You know, you get people to pray and fast with you. Prayer and fasting is key. Some things require fasting, too. [00:42:31] Speaker A: A lot of things require fasting. [00:42:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:34] Speaker A: Tell you so. Yeah. So my final question actually didn't. That was. That was pretty much. I think that is the final question. So my clothing is like, it's time for us to wake up and move in purpose for those that are easily distracted. Some of us think we're walking, moving. [00:43:02] Speaker B: But some of us well and. Well, and there can be areas in your life that you're Sleep. [00:43:07] Speaker A: Yeah. The world's getting darker. [00:43:11] Speaker B: So the bright, the Light. [00:43:12] Speaker A: We're supposed to be that light. Each of us should be a light. Each of us. [00:43:18] Speaker B: If we're his. [00:43:19] Speaker A: Huh? [00:43:20] Speaker B: If we're his. [00:43:21] Speaker A: What? [00:43:22] Speaker B: If we're his. [00:43:22] Speaker A: Oh yeah. If we're his. Yeah. [00:43:26] Speaker B: You said we should be. We are life. [00:43:30] Speaker A: Right? Yeah. So, yeah, that's, that's a great. Anytime be that light. You're supposed. [00:43:37] Speaker B: You have a light. Let solve. [00:43:39] Speaker A: Let that light shine. [00:43:41] Speaker B: Be seasoned. [00:43:42] Speaker A: Be that candle. Take your light and light another one. You know what I mean? Spark somebody else's life. [00:43:47] Speaker B: Wake somebody up. It doesn't take much and you can wake people up with the right question. But this is the thing, is that we, if we're really going to, if we are going to impact people, first we must be impacted through our encounter with Yeshua and then we, through that impact, we, we carry that. We carry that and we give it, we bring it to others and we can do that through asking questions. Yeah, well that's another way you can ask questions. Yeshua did it. Yeah, Father God, ask questions. [00:44:19] Speaker A: Yeah, that's something I learned from my dad. Ask questions. He did. Like he always ask the. Ask your question. [00:44:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Cuz the question, you go to him. [00:44:28] Speaker A: And ask him something, he say, well, let me ask you a question. [00:44:31] Speaker B: Yeah, it'll, it'll wake you up. [00:44:33] Speaker A: Yeah, it'll wake you up. Since you like, oh my gosh. Like I, you know, like if, you. [00:44:36] Speaker B: Know, the kids are having sleep and we say, hey, you want to go out for ice cream? They're going to, yeah, yeah. They're going to wake up. [00:44:43] Speaker A: So ask questions. Ask questions. [00:44:47] Speaker B: Intriguing questions. [00:44:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Not just any questions. So we're going to end with second Timothy 4, 3, 4. It says, for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned. Turn into fables. That's where we come in. We have to be that what I'm trying to say, be that. [00:45:20] Speaker B: The LION Truth. Speaker 2 Golly. [00:45:23] Speaker A: We have to speak that little truth to them. We have to plant that seed. But the thing is we don't have to worry about watering it. We plant the seeds and let y' all do the watering. Some people may think different with that. [00:45:33] Speaker B: Well, and sometimes you send someone else to water, but you just, and you never know, somebody might have already planted the seed. So when you're having the conversation, they're like, oh yeah, I'm familiar with that. And then you can be a witness which. Or be watering that. Be like, well, yeah, actually that is true. Did you know this as well? Yeah, you know, so. [00:45:52] Speaker A: So don't keep your mouth closed unless. [00:45:55] Speaker B: You don't have anything good to say. [00:45:56] Speaker A: Yeah, keep your mouth shut then. [00:45:58] Speaker B: Or if you can't say speak truth in love, can't say nothing good, don't. [00:46:02] Speaker A: Say nothing at all. [00:46:03] Speaker B: Well, if you can't say it in love, don't say it. Because a lot of times people saying good truth, but they're not saying it in love. [00:46:08] Speaker A: Well, that's what I was saying. [00:46:09] Speaker B: Slapping people with it. [00:46:10] Speaker A: Look, I was saying with the bullhorn. If you got a bullhorn and you yelling truth. [00:46:13] Speaker B: Yeah. See, this thing is. Is like, this Bible is good. If I. If I open the Bible and I read it to you, everything's fine. But if I take it and I'm like, bam, bam, and bam, it hits you. [00:46:28] Speaker A: Goodness. [00:46:29] Speaker B: Is the Bible still good? Yes, the Bible's good. [00:46:31] Speaker A: No, it ain't. You just beat me. [00:46:32] Speaker B: No, the Bible is good, but the delivery. Damage down the delivery. Yes. Wrong. [00:46:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:41] Speaker B: Praise Allah. [00:46:42] Speaker A: All right, any questions? Okay, well, if you do, drop them below. Yeah, we thank y' all for tuning in to the sacred Life Life podcast.
